Why did I name my blog as tearhere?.. I have the lamest answer for that. There's a TV Commercial before where they're a band and they don't know what to call themselves and one guy was eating a Chippy (It's like Cheetos) and saw the sign "tearhere" in the bag and TADA they have a name!.. and I find myself in the same situation when I first signed up here in blogger. I wish I have a better meaning to say but there isn't.

My brother vectorized my photos four years ago and I found it on my old site.. it's pretty neat huh?.. I have a talented brother ^_^ He did this when he's just starting to vector.

Dweji! (Official Family Member)

Tokki's four babies were adopted last week and Dweji was left behind. We didn't name the four bunnies even if they stayed with us for 3-4 weeks because we're afraid that we'll get attached with them. Dweji got his/her official name yesterday ^_^. She's the new baby in our home.. she looks exactly like his/her mom! I hope he/she's a boy.. my sister had an observation that male bunnies are sweeter and doesn't get grumpy like the female bunnies.

Ryo Nishikido or the other way around

I'm not really into Jpop because I never really try to do my research about them. But because my friend Mico dragged me into this drama I can't myself to know more about the leading guy in 1 Litre of Tears, Nishikido Ryo. I googled him and found out that he's part of a band.. like c'mon! Do all of their actors also knows how to sing? So I checked his song Code and the first part is kinda nah.. but as I listen to it over and over again it's very catchy. His voice is not something I used to hear so I don't know if he has a great voice but as long as it's not out of tune it's okay.. his husky voice is just right for him..

I don't know if I'll be a fan of him.. I never really sticked to Japanese artists.. Ikuta Toma and Shirota Yuu are the only Japanese actors that I know before.. well plus him now ^^. Here are the videos that made me like him more than being the sweet guy in 1 Litre of Tears.

I can't believe I'm watching another JDrama! Mico got me hooked up with this drama. It's different from every dramas that I've seen because this one is based on a true story. A girl who knows she's gonna lose her authority in her body and knows that she'll die eventually writing a diary until she can't hold a pen. Writing that sentence made me get teary eyes.. because it did happen to a 15 year old kid.  Watching this drama humbles me, thankful that God allowed me to be a healthy kid and that I should take care of it.
Every episode is very heartbreaking because in Aya's (the girl) life everyday will get worse and it's a battle everyday emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually. in a 12 episode drama we will see how she and her family will cherish the days that she can still command her body.


SYNOPSIS:This beautifully moving drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled “One Litre of Tears" has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone.

Fifteen year old Ikeuchi Aya was just a normal girl, soon to be high school student and daughter of a family who works at a shop that makes tofu. As time passed, unusual things started happening to Aya lately. She started falling down often and walks in a strange way. Her mother Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. After School is banging!

And I'm liking it. After School is one the Korean Idol Group that is not following the new dark trend nor did they follow the cutesy image when it was still hot in Korea, they make sure that their name will not be other's shadow and yes they succeeded that. People call them as Korean Pussycatdolls and I couldn't agree more with that.

I love their new concept! It does remind me of Drumline but it's not a bad thing at least it's not other Idol Group. It's a little disappointing that we only see them with drums for a few seconds, but we know that they did take part on the drum beats in their album. I wonder if they will use drums on Music Shows because of course you can't hand sync a drum it will be so obvious when you make mistakes but like Pledis said they practiced for 5 months they should master it by that time huh. But then again it's not a song I can follow easily but I'm pretty sure Koreans can but in general a song should be catchy in other for it to be big.. that's how I see it.


"With U" is not bad either.. I don't know if I should grab a copy of their album but maybe I will.

Choi Si Won for Elle April 2010

Si Won is what you called a "hot guy" I rarely use the word "hot" because I just don't. I get uncomfortable when I see buff men.. okay yea maybe I'm such a grandma about this matter but that's just the way it is. In this photo shoot there's not much revealing of skin here than in High Cut's last issue so I'm gonna post it on my blog. I like this guy because he has a strong faith in his Christian walk and he's very vocal about it I just wish that he volumes down his sexiness because he's causing others to sin.. lol but true. Anyway he looks manly rather than sexy in this photo shoot. His latest drama Oh My Lady aired yesterday (03/22/10) but I haven't seen it.. but I'm pretty sure his getting everybody's attention through his new drama.

Arigatou CNBLUE

I should have blogged about this three days ago, I was to caught up with a lot of things. Anyway here it goes. CNBLUE released 1st Full Japanese Album entitled "ThankU"  it consists 12 tracks but most of them are from their mini albums or most likely it's a combination of two mini albums with two new songs or should I say two and a half (?) Arigatou is such a sweet song.. I don't know the meaning of the lyrics but just by hearing Jonghyun's voice makes it so sweet.  I've heard the live version of Arigatou before hearing the CD Version and even that time when there was no clear audio for it I already fell in love with the song minus the screaming girls who reacted so much with the feed back in the sound system. I hope they this album will be available in Koreatown.. usually they don't have but I'm still hoping for it, gotta go there next week!.. And I'm excited for their comeback as Kpop band!

What should I watch?

I still don't know what drama I should watch this Spring. I wanna watch all the dramas at the same time but it's kinda hard to focus. Usually SBS does a great job when it comes to prime time dramas, but I think MBC's Personal Taste will be a hit too. KBS's Cinderella's Sister looks like a hardcore melodrama.. should I stay away from it? I was expecting a lot from that drama because Seo Woo is one of the main cast, and TaecYeon from 2PM will be the second guy but I don't know.. The casting is so great but I'm still doubtful with the storyline. I hope it will be as great as the casting. Well what ever drama will prove that putting an idol singer in their drama is not all for the ratings but because of their talent, wins... Siwon has the advantage here because he's a sunbae and he did a lot of dramas already. But I'm anticipating "What's Up" more than these three dramas, the story sounds interesting and the casting is awesome too. Anyway here's the Synopsis of each drama.

She’s been hurt a lot and has always wanted to have gay male friends (perhaps due to her numerous betrayals?), and the plot gets going when she gains new roommate Jeon Jin-ho (Lee Min-ho), whom she believes to be gay. Of course, he develops feelings for her but by then she has started to trust him, not knowing that their relationship was built on that lie.

Chae Rim as Yoon Kae Hwa
She is an ordinary housewife who becomes the manager of a top star in this romantic comedy series. Her character is a spunky 35-year-old ajumma who takes the job to earn money so she can take back her young child, who is in the care of her husband. She is lonely but she doesn't cry.
Choi Si Won as Sung Min Woo
A pretty-boy top star who finds himself in an absurd living situation with Yoon Kae Hwa, but later falls for her.
Lee Hyun Woo as Yoo Shi Jun
He will play the CEO of a musical production company who once wanted to be an actor, who turned instead to directing and then producing. His horrible temper emerges when performance time approaches, but he is skilled at his job. He is married to a top choreographer.
Park Han Byul as Yoon Jung
She is Min-woo’s first love back in their university years. She reappears in his life after returning from studying abroad, now a marketing director of a fashion brand, and has a big part in making Min-woo a star by making him the fashion brand’s model and providing him with sponsored clothing.

CINDERELLA'S SISTER

Cinderella's Sister is a reimagining of the classic Cinderella tale for the 21st century. Telling the tale of stepsister who has lived a tearful life where she has been unable to be happy but starts to feel contentment when she comes to live in Cinderella's house. However at some point she starts to feel a sense of uneasiness .

Cheon Jeong-Myeong plays a character like a prince but with a scar and has a love triangle with main female characters Hyo-seon & Eun-Ju. Ok Taecyeon plays Jeong-woo a character that is honest & funny and also in love with Eun-ju.

Eighteen

When I thought I should stop celebrating my birthday, everybody is celebrating it for me. lol. I wasn't really in the mood of celebrating it like I did in my past birthdays. It just makes me sad that on my 18th birthday I'm not with my friends, where I should be having a big birthday bash... But I guess I can't have everything. If I think about it again.. it's not really a big loss.. I can never take it to heaven.


So yea, instead of eating outside I requested to just stay at home and buy me ice cream and a cake that has my name on it then I'm okay. I didn't have a name on my cake but it's so delicious and so pretty that I can't cut it with my own hands.. haha! And my mom bought foods that are good for one week :)) And I'm very thankful for everything. God knows what can make me smile =D..

And I got a new guitar too! It was totally unexpected, I know they were planning something because my churchmates are not good with telling lies.. hahaha! When I saw the guitar center sign I was like "Are you gonna buy me a guitar??"... "Is my favorite artist is gonna play for me there??" (this one is my craziness) "Don't tell me your making me play in there! No in the highway!!!" So yea they were like choose any guitar Yssa.. I hope I came prepared that time, but I really felt that I choose a right guitar for me.. it's Ovation and the cheapest there.. I was too shy to choose the pricey one but I know I got a good deal with my guitar.. So I'm very happy! God knows what I needed.. I didn't even pray for it.. I only wished for it in my own crazy mind, but I guess even those crazy thoughts God hears and if it's His willing, He will allow it.. Thank You Lord!..


My mom bought me balloons that I always wanted to have in my birthdays because I can feel it's my birthday :D And I envy my sister for having one when she was young. And I told them to have a family picture because it's been three years since our last one.. We really had fun taking pictures. =D.. I'm happy that it ended nicely.. nothing to worry about getting home early and everything is very relaxed just the way I wanted it to be :D

Dr.Wang/ Dr. Seo

Yes I'm shipping this couple even if there's no hope for Dr.Wang. C'mon when you see the first two actors in the credits you'll know that they will be paired up and the third guy that will appear in the credits is the third wheel. And whoever has the screening time the most is the main lead and Dr. Wang is definitely not that guy.. Too bad, his character is so great for Dr. Seo but then again I wouldn't trade friendship with love but if God allows I won't stop it.. but really if they become lovers then there is no assurance that they will be until the end but friends last forever. It's really a hard situation if you think of it carefully if you cross the line of loving your friend it will always leave a mark... naah I don't know, Seo Ji Seok is so handsome to snob him.


I love how he handles the situation when he found out about Dr.Seo's pregnancy.. he didn't make her feel suffocated and let her decide for herself but he also reminded her of his principles and that he's not compromising but he's being a friend that respects her decision.. And he did tell her that if he needs a father for the baby he can also be counted for that.. love that part!

But I still feel bad for the second guy in every drama.. They don't end up with nobody and that's just sad because most of the second guy holds the characteristics that women wants. If I become a scrip writer I will make sure that the second guy will end up with somebody also. ^_^

Secret Places

I went to a conference last Saturday that talks about how to faces the issues that young women are facing this generation, may it be small or big. I was hesitant to come to this conference because I felt like I don't face a big issue in my life that cost $12, but God knows I needed to hear what they are going to talk about in that conference. I was really blessed with all the speakers because they're experience is so much a like with mine... and that even if you say that you grew up in church and you've read the bible you still have mistakes that you don't want anyone to know but God knows it and he's more than willing to listen to it.

Sarah Macintosh (she's not a speaker, she's the one who lead the worship) shared a verse that talks about our prayer that our wordless and tears are the evidence of it. Sometimes I have day when I talk to Him and I don't even know what to say and I just start to cry and it feels like someone is taking all the trash in my heart out.. well this verse answers my curiosity about it. Thank you Jesus for giving me your answer through Your word... it's so sweet when it comes straight from Your word.

Here's a song that I used to sing in my old church.. I'm really amazed on hearing it again last friday during our worship practice.. It's been what.. 10 years (?) since I sang this song.. and the words of the this song is so powerful.. It's a very old song, I wish someone will make a remake of this song.. it just brings back the memory =)

Pul Ip and Chan Doo for Nylon

That's not their real name.. Go Ah Sung (left) and Lee Hyun Woo (right) are two of the main cast of God of Study that ended last month. I definitely watched all the episodes even without English subtitles.. yes I saw this God of Study without any subtitles but I felt like I got everything they wanted to show... For me actions do speak louder than words.. and a little help from God of Study Soompi thread, I'm so thankful for the people who give rough translations every episode. Anyway I was shipping for Pul Ip and Chan Doo at first but Baek Hyun showed his more capable than Chan Doo. lol.. But no one ended with anybody which is a good thing because God of Study is not really focus about love but studying.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctors

I forgot the reason why I started watching this. But I guess Song Joong Ki won over me again.. I said to myself that I'll just watch his part and fast forward the other boring parts but it drew my whole attention as soon as I watched Episode 1... I really hate seeing blood and I have a weak heart when it's about life or death situation but the story is so good that I can't help myself watching it. There's so much lesson to learn from this drama and it made me appreciate that I was born healthy and almost felt how my mom suffered when she was pregnant with me.

And it's not all about delivering a baby that got me drawn to this drama. The fact that the lead actress is pregnant while her profession is about babies (wah! sorry don't know the term) I have my strong belief that abortion is a no no.. since the baby is unplanned she thought of having an abortion but I hope she won't do it in the end. I wanna see how a strong and bold woman handle this kind of situation, even though she's strong on the outward appearance, she is a doctor who delivers a baby.. she should have the attachment to babies then..

Oh well let's see how it goes. The characters for this drama are really good! It's about time for me to watch a mature drama and not all mushy lovey dovey dramas. Ow and I take back my word about not liking Song Joong Ki to take this part.. I'd rather see him in dramas like this than all cutesy dramas.

2NE1's Try To Follow Me MV

Finally it's out! A month after YG released the single, I feel like it's my first time hearing Try To Follow Me when I saw this video! It's very different from their CF.. the blue/pink cutesy dresses are out and fierce and the "2NE1 style" are in. I love how the music video is not very serious but more like showing that "yea try to copy this if you can".. hahaha! Even the pajama outfit will only work for them.. It's very refreshing to see colorful outfits in kpop scene again.. I'm glad YG is not following the dark side trend.. it's just too boring. Even F.cuz that I thought will not take that path finally gave up... YG! release your artist now! Kpop is losing it's color!

Kimi Wa Petto

I decided to watch this Jdrama yesterday when I heard of the news that Jang Geun Suk will take the lead role of Kimi Wa Petto remake.. but not a drama, they will make it as a movie. I don't really like Jdramas because it's kinda shallow but I'm slightly opening to it since You're Beautiful aired. The drama was great, I didn't read the synopsis before watching that's why I'm surprise with the whole story. A 29 year old lady have a 20 year old man as a pet.. no not as a gigolo but as a PET... The Iwaya (the lady) is kinda lunatic to think of that idea but Takeshi was not far from her either. Takeshi doesn't have any place to go and the only way he can stay in Iwaya's place is to be her pet. Iwaya's role is the kind of women who's not true to herself that's why she end up being single, for a 29 year old woman this is not a happy news. I really couldn't tell the whole story here but to make it short She started to be herself when she saw a man as pet and not as a man and as time pass it went back to seeing him as a man. It's not the best drama I've seen but it's not bad either. I wonder how Jang Geun Suk will portray Takeshi's role.. he's different from Jang Geun Suk's past roles.. I mean all of his roles were cold blooded cool guy but Takeshi is very sweet and a no pride guy, I'm sure they will make few changes from the original story, can't wait to see Jang Geun Suk on his next role!.

Epik High's Run

Not really an Epik High fan, but I do appreciate some of their songs.. and Run can be one of them. The chorus is very catchy.. I can see myself singing "You got me runnin' runnin' runnin' around. Down, down, down." And I love the music video! Don't know yet what they were trying to tell in their music video but it looks interesting and the guy running in the music video is part of "Infinite" an upcoming boyband that is under the same company as Epik High, Woolim Entertainment.

Because of this song I met my bestest friends =D.. It may not be successful thing in our teacher's eyes but for us it was a very special memory that we will forever treasure. We didn't bring any materials for our T.L.E. project and those who didn't bring anything will stand at the back of our room.. then Ms. DGmon asked as one by one if we have one material that she told us to bring if we do have we can sit but the four of us (Mico, Dom, Julian and Me) didn't bring anything that's why we kept standing.. it's kinda shameful for us to be there standing because first we are girls and second we are girls.. haha! Usually when a teachers punishes their student, the students can't even raise their heads because of embarrassment, but that's the total opposite of what we did.. we keep on chatting about random stuff then out of nowhere Mico shared her experience in her old school about a girl who looks awkward dancing the "Yes Yes Show" of Parokya ni Edgar then we end up copying her and we were the only making noise in our room and that made my teacher burst into anger and sent us to the principal's office which is very very big deal because we skipped the first level which is the "guidance counselor".. it was really scary for me because that's my first time being sent there.. I was not a good student but I'm not bad either. So instead of being close to our Homeroom teacher she hated us the whole school year.. we never got high mark in our cards in her subject.. But through her and the yes yes show song we became close and still are =)
