His commandments are not burdensome

1 John 5:3 "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."

-Reminds me the time of Moses and Israelites. When God gave His commandments He told His people that He is giving those commandments for them not to fall from their enemies’ idols.
-God does not want to lose His child from His arms.
-That’s how God loved His people. He Himself made a way to keep His child. His commandments are not burdensome because it’s all for our own good

-PSALM 19: “The law of the lord is perfect.” Law of God- law, testimony, commandment, fear & judgment.
6 EVALUATIONS OF THE LAW
-perfect, sure, right, pure, clean and true
6 RESULTS OF THE LAW
-converting the soul, making wise the simple, rejoicing the heart, enlightening the eyes, enduring forever and righteous altogether.
*it provides the key to wisdom, joy, and most importantly eternal life

People always tell how hard to follow so much rules, and why don’t we just love instead of focusing in the small details. Well God have a reason for that. We don’t start sinning in the obvious way. It starts with believing the lie is not harmful. DeMoss writes in her book this:
”We listen to a lie. We get too close
We dwell on the lie. We focus on it and ponder the benefits.
We believe the lie. We begin to believe the lie is true.
We act on the lie. We sin”
God does not want us to taste sin as His child.  In able to have a healthy marriage you need to be faithful, true, submit yourself to your husband. Same with our relationship with Him.
