Ever since Big Bang made their big comeback after 2 years of hiatus you didn't hear me spazz like I should be. I wasn't really that thrilled with "Tonight". Yes it gives me LSS but... I didn't really like it. Period.. Even the music video... I'm always saying that I'm looking for something more... but with their case.. I want them to tone it down a bit... and after few months of that.. They DID tone it down. wah! I love Taeyang's part and believe it or not I like Seungri's part too... Daesung and TOP's intro... Gdragon is okay.. but really, the four shined in this song :D

Stupid Liar's performance is really fun.. I like how they bang their head :D... But Deukkie of Dony's face in Love Song performance made me go for this more... who wouldn't like a calm big bang? maybe it's just me... hahaha

Seungri's 1st Mini Album

To tell you the truth Seungri is my least favorite member of Big Bang. Yes he's funny.. but he's egoistic mind kinda turned me off.. So I wasn't really expecting on his album release, I'm not also a fan of his voice or his face... it's not that his bad.. it's just that in Big Bang, I don't notice him so much.. But hearing all his song in his latest album I find myself liking everything about it, my head bobbing to every beat.. to tell you the truth I like this VVIP album as a whole than GDTOP's album, but I still love "Oh Yeah" above all the songs from Seungri's album.. hahaha.. it's more like this 12<7.. Anyway in this album.. I don't know which one is my favorite.. maybe his duet with IU?.. not really.. I like them all but not like how I'm with "Oh Yeah"

Se7en and Miss A

I wasn't really a se7en fan before but being a YG bias I learn to love him. He has a good voice.. All the Se7en/ Park Han Byul shenanigans introduced me to he was and his music last last year. Too bad he doesn't get that much recognition when he made a comeback after three years.. but I guess if you're a true artist performing on stage than getting awards is enough. I'm not so crazy about his new follow up song "I'm going crazy" (lol) Maybe I need to listen to it more before it sinks in to me just like "Better Together". I love the YG Music Videos!!! I love the slow motion rewind of Park Han Byul's action... she got a weird pose for a second but that actually made me like it.. I hope we'll here more of Se7en this year. =D

I need to be updated huh?.. I'm a late bloomer in appreciating Se7en's Better Together, I like Shinee's Lucifer and Up&Down. I also learn to love Taeyang's whole album, before it's just Superstar but now I'm liking other songs too, like Break Down. And as expected with Brave Brothers they make a very catchy song.. it's nice comeback for Jay Park in music industry after how many months of chaos, I miss hearing his voice! But I still feel different him being solo... well I need to get used to it now.. And yes add Jpop to my lists, I've been captivated by Arashi and Nishikido Ryo's songs.. so wherever Ryo is.. NEWS or Kanjani8 I'll be there. haha. But I'm kinda sad that I don't here much of him here in their new single unlike Rolling Coaster.. but I always love it when he plays guitar rather than dancing. And with Arashi's full album I have few favorites excluding Troublemaker, Monstah! (:]]) and Everything.. it's "movin on" and "1992*4##111"... yea a little Nino bias there..

Taeyang 2nd Album

I know I'm late but who cares?.. I love the whole album just like G-dragon's solo album, you can tell that they worked hard on the songs and didn't just do for the sake of marketing. My favorite is Superstar! I just love how it gets you pump up. I thought that it will be his title track. "I Need A Girl" is good, but idk.. "Superstar" is the best for me. I will definitely grab a copy of his album.. yeeee! I'm excited to have my own copy!

Infinite - Come Back Again

Woolim Entertainment first idol group has finally released their debut album along side with a music video. The song is nice, nice as in not irritating in your ears... of course you can't get away from "rap" when you're in Kpop world but the rap was not that hardcore and doesn't sound like they're trying to hard to be a rapper. And it's nice to see one neutral color of hairs and colorful attires for a change. hahaha. I don't know if I'm gonna keep my eyes on them like C.N.Blue and Big Bang.. They're good but the only one the caught my eye is the nice looking guy and under the power of google search if I'm not mistaken his name is Sung Yeol the spelling might be wrong but who cares... 5 stars for being a catchy song (the chorus is alreay stuck in my head) and 5 stars for the interesting video..and the guitar hook (love it!)

Bluelove

Yes CNBLUE is stepping out from YAB fandom. They sure prove people that they're not just ridding on YAB's fame, maybe they had a help but they didn't fade when YAB did. Love their new mini-album like their album's title it's very lovely. They didn't remove the rock band image but they just show another image of them. I love their romantic side, I feel like I'm going back to my old days.


Sweet Holiday
My favorite is Sweet Holiday, Lovelight and maybe Love.. because it's very catchy. Sweet Holiday is something you hear in movies when the couple is having their wonderful time in the park, or zoo (only if they didn't add too much rap, it would have been a perfect OST)

CNBlue's Love Light

I know I'm late with all the news... it sucks when you don't have internet connection at home, but there are some advantages of it.. we learn how to bond as a family in our house. Lovelight was released yesterday and even though it's not the title track I still love it, the fact that CNBlue participated on making that track makes it more even special, and I really think the song fits Jonghyun's style.. ughh.. I still want to hear a clearer version of his cover of "New Shoes"... back to the song, it's very lovely but yet again there's rap.. something that can never be taken out from kpop songs.. sometimes it irritates me but I learn how to accept it.

(and Yonghwa's "I'm genie for you girl") hahaha

Gummy/ FT Island

Gummy released a new music video today. I was really excited with her new album because "I'm sorry" was so good that you'll want to hear more Gummy songs. And this song makes it extra special casting two of artist that I like.. Jung Ryeo Won and Kim Hyun Joong.. He's very handsome! mostly when men grows up their face changes and they don't look good like they used to be.. Hyun Joong is not like that, he gets more appealing to me. And for Ryeo Won, I'm glad that she gained weight.. she looks prettier ^_^ Can't wait to see Gummy's live performance for this song, it's always better to hear the live version :D

I'm really liking every FT Island songs now, I think Hongki's voice is perfect for Jpop songs.. or should I say Jmusic since they're not really pop. And I love Jaejin's calm voice, it just right for FT Island.. The song definitely has a hook.. very Engrishey but it's forgiven because you don't expect someone to be good at it when it's not their first language.. And love the concept of the music video.. Now I miss seeing them on music shows...

Lee Hyori 4th Album

Her album came out few weeks ago, I'm just lazy to talk about it because I wasn't really that hype. But I have my favorite from the whole album and it's "How Did We Get".. she sang it with Daesung and it came out really nice! Makes me want to fall in love again, hahaha! The rest of the songs are all good (but not my type), Hyori's album has a touch of dark concept but you can barely see it.. Her album shows her versatility when it comes to singing and Her photos for her album.. I don't know if it's unique because everyone seems like they're heading on that road too.. I guess it's how they bring it, and she can totally bring it.

Vanilla Lucy

I found a new good source of Kpop.. well I know her for a long time but I didn't know that she blogs..  she blogs more on Kpop artist that doesn't gain that much lime light like the ones you see in allkpop and all big kpop sites.
Vanilla Lucy looks like an interesting group because they're a band.. but not just your regular band.. they play instruments that you'll mostly see in operas or some elite event, They hold saxophone, cello and violin.. and their song is upbeat and not like those dramatic songs.

After School is banging!

And I'm liking it. After School is one the Korean Idol Group that is not following the new dark trend nor did they follow the cutesy image when it was still hot in Korea, they make sure that their name will not be other's shadow and yes they succeeded that. People call them as Korean Pussycatdolls and I couldn't agree more with that.

I love their new concept! It does remind me of Drumline but it's not a bad thing at least it's not other Idol Group. It's a little disappointing that we only see them with drums for a few seconds, but we know that they did take part on the drum beats in their album. I wonder if they will use drums on Music Shows because of course you can't hand sync a drum it will be so obvious when you make mistakes but like Pledis said they practiced for 5 months they should master it by that time huh. But then again it's not a song I can follow easily but I'm pretty sure Koreans can but in general a song should be catchy in other for it to be big.. that's how I see it.


"With U" is not bad either.. I don't know if I should grab a copy of their album but maybe I will.

What I like about YG artist is you can identify who's singing, each member has it's own uniqueness maybe it's like that with other companies but since I don't pay attention to them like I do in YG artist so I'm not really sure. The song is not very danceable like the first Lollipop with 2NE1 but the angst is still there. What I like about big bang is there fashion sense, I didn't get what they're trying to say at first but I think I'm getting it now.. I hope they stay colorful w/o looking cheap because that's what separate them from other guy groups.

Seungho is starting to grow on me.. I love how he's not a guy who you can ask aegyo every time. But I don't like his hairstyle for this photo shoot, It's Chundoong's hairstyle that I like this month.. yea, it seems like every month I have a favorite hairstyle from different members. err.. This is the hardest time for me to rank the boys when I already saw all their charms. Anyway, Valentines is coming up...and I'm alone again, it's been two years aiiiish.. whatever.


  

Oh! Star! Star! Star!

I'm not really a SNSD fan, but I'm not a hater.. I just get tired of hearing their names everywhere.. And sometimes I can't stand their cutesy songs that talks about they will do everything for a guy or whatsoever. Anyway enough with my insecurities. I believe that all of them can sing they just don't showcase it on their own songs. When I first heard "Oh!" it gave me an irritating feel that suddenly gets stuck in your head and start liking it because you always hear it wherever you go.


And they sang "Star, Star, Star" in Music Core last Saturday. It's my first time hearing it..and I'm really amazed by them. Taeyeon!!! I wish I can sing like you!. All of them did a great job.. they always do that's why they have a lot of antis. lol.

IU & Yong Hwa

They didn't sing together.. it's two different shows. IU is such a great singer, music industry ruins her with letting her sing Rock U, Marshmallow and all the songs that was made for her... it's to pop that her great talent in singing gets blocked, thanks to MBC Music Travel La La La for inviting her and let her sing with Lee Young Hyun and showed why she's in the music business. But then again that's Mainstream.



Yong Hwa's voice is definitely new to Kpop scene. He really reminds me of Gavin DeGraw.. and that made me want to hear him sing Gavin DeGraw songs.. maybe in his radio appearance this week (cross fingers). He was one of the guests in Radio Star last night and of course he rocks it. He sang Geek in the Pink and Falling Slowly. I hope FnC will produce more bands into the Kpop scene.

Lol. now i want to see C.N.Blue in MBC Music Travel La La La.. FT Island did a great job when they went there.. or in YHY Sketchbook in SBS. They sound better when they perform live, Music shows doesn't allow them to play live.. T_T

I'm not a fan but this song got stuck in my head quite a few times because of watching CFs while waiting for the drama I'm gonna watch last year. Yesterday while I'm at kpopflash live stream they showed this video while we're waiting for SBS Inkigayo to air... I didn't know that it's Supreme Team's song.. I know nothing about them, just the fact that they won best new male artist in Mnet MAMA 2009 and one guy looks good. =)... And I think this is also the same song Park Shin Hye and Lee Hong Ki were singing in their first MinamTV..

C.N.Blue for Elle Girl

This is one of the initiation of being an idol.. well they have to go through 10asia also.. and I'm looking forward to that.. For now I'll spazz with Elle Girl photos.. Minhyuk!! JungShin!! you make me fall in love.. I guess this is the start of Yong Hwa withdrawal. Looking forward to see them on variety shows.. I hope they drop the "You're Beautiful" topic every time they have interviews.. other members don't get much attention because of that. I'm a fan of You're Beautiful but everyone needs to move on. I really need to go to Koreatown!.. Based on my experience.. official photos will be out next month
