What Is a Harvest?

For more than 19 years, Harvest Crusades has put on large-scale evangelistic outreaches around the United States and in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. More than 3.5 million people have attended a Harvest Crusades event in person, and more than 275,000 people have registered decisions of faith in Jesus Christ.

Harvest Crusades events are designed to be opportunities for Christians to invite unsaved family members, coworkers, friends, and acquaintances to hear the life-changing message of the gospel in an environment that is entertaining, yet nonthreatening.

The cornerstone of each event is the presentation of the gospel by Pastor Greg Laurie. Biblically-sound and culturally relevant, Pastor Greg brings a clear gospel message, providing an opportunity for people to make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Harvest Crusades events feature some of the top names in contemporary Christian music. Artists who have appeared at Harvest events include MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, Third Day, tobyMac, Leeland, Jars of Clay, Todd Agnew, Crystal Lewis, P.O.D., newsboys, David Crowder Band, Switchfoot, Delirious, and Kutless.

Cebu Inmates says Sorry Sorry

I know I'm a little late to have party poppers for Cebu Inmates on making Philippines known to other country who does not know that our little island exist. Last week I checked their Sorry Sorry version and I gotta say "you gotta love them!" It's way better than the Nobody Dance because everybody participated, there's "change formation" and their serious faces..panalo!! And choosing the song "sorry sorry" fits them.

And I also watched their documentary by a British Journalist. Give your 20 minutes and watch it and you'll never think bad things about the inmates when you watched it. It's very touching. Maybe some countries envy their cooperativeness. They sure prove "killer will always be a killer" wrong.

[KDRAMA] Partner

I'm currently watching this new k-drama "Partner", the story is about the life of lawyers. It's interesting to know what's going on inside and outside the court, how they investigate and how smart lawyers can be. Last time I watched "The World That They Live In" which tells you the process of a television drama producton and I really learn a lot from that k-drama. Well maybe it's not the exact scenarios but you get a little taste of what happens behind the curtains. And I'm hoping that in this new k-drama that I'm watching will not disappoint me. well if the k-drama ends as a fail drama it'll be fine because I was able to see Lee Dong Wook act again after so many years... weeeeee! Yea Lee Dong Wook! So if anyone wanna watch it with me visitt viikii.net and watch every friday and saturday afternoon =D

[The first case that they work on will make you cry.. and also the 2nd case.. but not as the first case.. ]

2NE1: I don't care

YG finally released I don't care MV. It's pretty cool that 2NE1 gives us variation. I gotta admit my curiosity with Sandara's life in Korea was the reason why I like 2NE1 now..It's a great decision of her to go back to Korea, if she stays here in Philippines I would always see her as "baduy", In P-pop they don't train artist that much unlike in Korea, as long as you got the looks and confident they put you on the spot immediately while in Korea they train you for years.. she still needs improvement on her talent comparing to CL, Bom, and Minji... The song tells us that they don't care no more bout there boyfriend. I don't know if other female kpop singer also sing songs that have this kind of lyrics.. most of them are mushy, cheesy, clingy Oppa! songs

RIP: Volker- Before he was a guard dog he was a family dog

Volker

My Auntie found Volker dead around 3pm yesterday July 08, 2009. Volker has been a part of my Aunt's family and so with us. I haven't have a chance to talk to them and share my grief with them, when I heard the news from my dad I couldn't grasp it easily, Volker is a strong dog, he's trained to be a guard and attack dog how could he die that fast?? "he never missed a meal", "he had a big field to play with".. that all came to my mind, but none of that were the reason why he died. He was highblood, it's generic my sister told me that Volker's father or brother also died because of highblood.

I regret so much because I didn't play with him like my brother plays with him, I always get tired running around and getting scratches, I was always scared with dogs, even with our dogs in Philippines, I only play with them when my brother gets mad with our dogs. But my mom, Patty and David were always close with dogs, that's why the get so attached with Volker, even though he got this scary look when you look at his outward appearance he never gets mad like little dogs do.

I'm just a little worried with my three little cousins who's like a flock of sheep with Volker, pushes my cousins with his head to gather them together while they're playing on the field. I remembered are first dog Bingo when he died, we were at the same age as my cousin when Bingo died and that made me think "How did they accept it?" they must have cried a lot. There's always gonna be a place for Volker not only in our hearts but also in my Aunt's place everywhere you look will remind you of Volker, we will always miss you Volker.

(This was the latest photo we have with Volker, my dad took this photos without our notice. It was very early and me and my sister decided to go outside to play with him before we leave my Aunt's place. Our face didn't came out good, but our time with Volker was priceless)
