Webcam Madness

I don't know why we torreses hate people who post hundreds of pictures with their different face angles... I mean, don't get mad if you're like that... I'm soo guilty with this, I have hundreds of album here on multiply (and I'm working to lower it down =D ) and I used to have pictures like that too (but not hundreds) ... Me and my sisters and brother sometimes joke around here at our house and spend an hour taking photos on our webcam just to feel how people feels when they do it, and I can't deny, it is fun =))... I can't upload the pictures I'm so sorry, we got great funny photos and videos but they won't allow me.. they don't wanna make fool out of thereselves.. they say if I wanted to post it make sure it's just me... so yea... I pick my tops on my hundred photos, and I know I'm so pacute :))

Me and David
I really love this one! with matching laundry basket on the side :))...  It's just a big joke, don't take it seriously, I'm just testing if there's really something with borders... and I found nothing on it... But I still like this photo! :)) ahahaha!

God's rebelutionaries

Me and Alyssa Chua started a new here at multiply, we started to invite people to join last Wednesday [Yes Christmas day!] we were inspired by the group called The Rebelution which Alex and Brett Harris created, they encourage young people to stand up from what God's been wanting them to do and rebel against low expectations that the world has given us.. We believe that our generation has been given much talent for us to serve Him, but we tend to use it in our own ways cause noone even bothers,

Ecclesiastes 3:9-10, 12
Two are better than one, because they have a good return in work, if one falls down his friend can help him up.
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves, A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

It's a group that everyone can join, you could share your talent in making layouts, guitar tutorials even share the word that God showed you, anything that glorifies His name :D

Never Silence Life

ABOUT:

As a child, we are told all the time that everyone has the chance to make history and that everyone has a voice. It is our choice to use it for the good or for the bad. And it is our choice in this life how we are going to make a difference in the course of history.

We are all called to be something great, we all have passion and all have a voice... But some people aren't so fortunate, some people don't have a chance to speak and stand up for themselves.

So my question for you today is, will you be a voice for the voiceless?

Every 22 seconds a child dies. Not of starvation or of unclean water, but because someone made a choice for them. Someone didn't want to be inconvenienced so they made a choice. A choice to silence that inconvenience, even though it was because of something they had done. That inconvenience is an innocent child, and they are being silenced every single day.

In America alone 1.37 million children are aborted every year; 3,700 a day. My generation is a part of the biggest holocaust in history. 1/3 of my generation has been killed. And it's 1/2 of my generation that is doing the killing. And what have we done about it? Nothing. We say we don't like it but we don't stand up for it.

So another question for you today is, are you brave enough to stand up for what is right? Are you brave enough to make history? On January 22, 1973, abortion was legalized in the United States and since then 40 million children have been killed. We can't go on one more day without letting our voice be heard. So will you stand and let your voice be heard?

This call is an attempt to come together in unity, with one voice, to be the sound of the heartbeat that will wake up the sleeping in our nation. So, on January 22, 2009, in a silent protest, we will stand in front of court houses, schools and in churches praying for the lives of the unborn. We will gather all across America. We don't gather in violence, but with a repentant heart, we will lay our petitions before the Lord to have mercy on our country and bring change to the hearts of Americans and their view on the importance of a human life.

One Day. One Voice. One Heartbeat. Together we will stand for change. Together we will make history.

"Before you were formed in the womb, I knew you..." - Jeremiah 1:5

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And this reminds me of our field trip when I was in my first year high school, even on 2 months old fetus, (or one?) you could already see the image of a baby, and really its a heartbreaking experience for me.. they have 1-8 months fetus... that's just not right.. And I'm happy that they form something like this, they're not doing it for there own sake but for others, some people are not aware of what's right and wrong, Let's all pray for this event, I believe that it could be a great impact in this world if we all stand together.

Wall-E

Now I understand why brother is so into this! And finally got that time to watch it, i don't even know why I'm so busy this week??.. anyway, another inspiring movie that I would recommend everybody to watch, This what I like about Pixar, they create very nice movies... and this reminds me of their past movies... each and every movie leaves a lesson, I mean not every movie now got lessons... talking bout good moral, I hope they make more movies.

Wall-e reminds me of I am Legend, maybe because they have the same meaning?.. no i can't really pin point it out.. anyway, the lesson is for everyone, Do not let rely on technology alone, another generation was dumb founded of the wonderful creations in earth, they may get everything they want but from that they get blind and all... I like it when the captain looks for more infos (even when Auto tries to tell him it's time to sleep)about the earth, and he ended up discovering lots of great things, and amazed on how it all connected.

And one of the things I like about this movie was they didn't put wall-e as the hero, If the captain didn't stand up, if the people didn't pass the plant they would never make it.. and they end the movie open, it's not a happy ending, but a happy beginning...

And and one more thing! if you don't want to get fat.. Stand up and do something!

Jesus is the reason for this season!

Why did he come?
.
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. -Luke 2:7

GOD'S LOVE SENT HIM
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life life." John 3:16

...TO DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER
For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. -John 6:38

..TO GIVE HIS LIFE
"just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

..TO GIVE US LIFE
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

..TO BECOME POOR, TO MAKE US RICH
"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." -2 Corinthians 8:9

..TO BE MADE LIKE US
"For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted" -Hebrews 2:17-18

"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin." -Hebrews 4:15

..THAT WE MIGHT BE LIKE HIM
"For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." -Romans 8:29

..TO GIVE US PEACE
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." -John 14:27

..TO GIVE US JOY
"I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete." -John 15:11

Everybody Somebody Anybody Nobody

I had a rainy date today with Ate Hanna, I just feel so relieved when people give me encouragement, and I think everybody needs it for us to really step it up... I don't know, I guess that's the greatest thing about fellowship, anyway she shared me about this, She forgot the exact word but it's almost the same =D... I hope this will encourage EVERYBODY. God Bless!

Don't Be a Nobody by Woodrow Kroll

Isaiah 6:8

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Don't Be a Nobody

Once upon a time there were four men named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. But Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it. But Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about it, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, and Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody and Nobody did the job that Anybody could have done in the first place.

Nobody is still alive and well in our churches. When the pastor pleads for someone to teach Sunday school, Nobody is the most likely one to respond. When clean-up day rolls around, Nobody reports for duty. When there is a need to provide housing for a visiting college chorale, Nobody is first in line. How refreshing it must be for God to hear Somebody say, "Here am I! Send me."

When Isaiah envisioned the Holy God and the spiritual need of the unholy world, he was energized to respond to the Lord's calling (Isa. 6:1-8). When he was released from the burden of his sin, he found a new enthusiasm for serving God. And so will you.

When you hear the summons to duty, don't avoid the opportunity?or Nobody will end up doing it. Instead of a Nobody, be the Somebody who is willing to respond enthusiastically to the opportunities of service to God. Instead of making excuses and letting others do the work, find the joy of being God's instrument to accomplish His will in the world.

Be God's Somebody; don't let Nobody get all the credit.

The Waiting Kind

I found them in twitter, well not there band, just the lead guitarist, He followed me ( I don't even know where) and I checked his myspace, and found out that his a band.. and I am guessing he saw me at myspace cause we have the same taste of music, as in! Phil Wickham, Leeland, Jars of Clay, Switchfoot, Vicky Beeching etc.. I listened to their song and it's really nice, and the great thing about is it all points to God =D..

check them out here!

Narnia: Prince Caspian

I know I'm super late!.. Dvds not available until december 12, believe me its a long wait... but everythings worth it!... It made me cry, before the whole summarizing , I just want to say Edmund is soooo cute!! and Prince Caspian :D... I've never read the book ( and I'm dying to have one now!) so I don't know what should be the story. But I could still see the messages that C.S. Lewis wanted to tell ( I hope) ..

-The battle is not ours, A scene where they attack the telmanaries (is that it?)they shouted "for narnia"... But on the second one they shout "for aslan"...on the first one, they lose, they went home in few numbers, I think that's one thing should be point out.. when we're missing the main reason of our fight, then we're going down. Not for our glory but for Him..

- When Lucy saw Aslan on the other side of the forest, she told the others to go there, But they did not listen to her and it's really impossible to cross it cause.. I don't really know, but when they reach the other way they found out that they can't cross cause their enemies are in there.. so might as well take Lucy's plan.. same way in our lives when God's telling us to go, we always doubt Him and cross the easiest and most possible way for us. If they listen to what Lucy said at first, it would have not taken them long, and that's just a slap on our face no?

-and I like how Edmund learn all his lesson, and help his brother not to fall from the white witch's lie.. clap clap on that

-And as for Peter, I guess He learned his lesson, It's not Him who will save narnia, so don't just go and fight and miss out the main goal.

That's just some of the great things that the movie wanted to imply, Maybe people got different way of seeing it. But for me, as long as it points to Him then it's good. oh oh! I wanna know the next story! :'( I got a little sad that Susan won't be coming back (is it really true??) at Narnia, It's just Edmund and Lucy.. I feel sad for Prince Caspian.. but it all seems fair ( I don't know if these is wrong, but i see Prince Caspian as Jesus) cause they are getting old, and human and all, so its a bitter sweet feeling :D...

Bah Bah Black Sheep

Fill in the blanks..

wops! don't hit that search button!!! give me the answer that pops in your mind!

He's learning how to rap, and his version of bah bah black sheep goes like this "bah bah black sheep have you any wool yes sir yes sir three bags or more"... :)) We all laughed cause we know its wrong in someway.

My answer: Three bag of wolves ....:)) what the heck! they got twisted!
Dyan's answer: Three Bad wolves! =))
David's answer: I love you?? double =))

New Found Old Photo

I swear I can't remember this one!.. And we got tons of em! I hope I could find more old family pictures,, this is like super cool!.. I wonder how often I change the way I smile?... cause my eldest sister got her signature pose since birth!.. I should post it next time!!.. I hope she'll let me do it! it's super cute!

Have I done Something?

This day, I felt like I'm so selfish on what God has given me, I felt like I am being fed non stop with His word, that I just wanted be out there, to share what He have showed me... and 2 months have past.... have I done that? I'm thankful on everything He has given me.. and I know in my heart that I willingly share His love to everyone, but it just feels...like I need to do more, He gave me more than enough, and that's the only thing I did?.. I know that He doesn't see any of our efforts "only" when we do it to glorify His name...

Someone quoted on do hard things book this "God made himself unreachable for us not to stop"... Amen to that, He doesn't want us to settle on our comfort zone, and He gave me this questionable answers... How would I know that's what He wanted me to do?.. and really! I don't want to be stuck on that question, I don't even want to say it to Him.. but I got no escape on that, I already did... I don't want to doubt His plans for me, all I need is a little back up :(... Are the other people He wanted me to be with thinks the same way I did?... And you know what! enough with the question! Let's step it up, take stand.. If they think they way I think then.. GREAT! and if not... I say great also, it's better to get disappointed (for me) than be stuck on "what if's".. I know if I get hurt on the possible outcome of it, I'll find comfort on Him, and Him alone!

I miss our baga days mico and kim!... after school, when we have loose change we buy baga outside soldiers terminal!.. hhmmmm! I forgot kuya's name, I remember we (mico and I) asked manong he's experiences on selling baga, and he told us about people eating and not paying, and trick him on how much they've eaten.. such a rude thing to do!.. And we ask him what does he do when people do that, he said he just shut his mouth, cause he knows customer turn things around, When he told me about that, I start making sure I'm counting how many baga i've got.. cause really they work all night to set things up, and one thing! if the baga taste a bit weird it means it's not new so be thankful if it taste good (think of the effort they put in there to earn money!), so it's really nice of him giving us that information, ouch! ouch! think of their effort on making those baga whenever you try sneaking one more... I never did that, but.. I don't know, I feel like I'm part of those cheaters...

ahahah! anyway! My favorites are Adidas, Betamax, Tenga, and Baga! what's yours?... I don't eat Fried Calamari before, but now I learn how to eat one :)).... And and I miss Balot and Penoy and Taho... AND QUEK QUEK!!! oooh!! I wanna make one! But it won't taste the same :(...

You can't say you're having a bad day when the day haven't ended yet!

It's just so amazing how God will end my day, He wouldn't end it without showing His awsomeness! That's what He's been teaching me this couple of days, if my day seems to be bad on the very first minute i wake up, I should just give all the worries everything to Him, cause it's not me alone can solve everything, that I should keep on moving and wear my happy smile and be an encouragement to others, cause our moods affects every person that we past by everyday, and just trust Him on things that you're about to do everyday and He'll just give you the overflowing satisfaction. I couldn't just thank Him enough for His love and care that He let me see.

What the heck I'm talking about?.. well yesterday evening I planned everything for today, so I'll have enough time to sit and relax and have time for myself, but guess what, I never did any of it today, all was wrecked, And really.. it didn't start well, at all! It never started well whenever I don't start my day with Him, and getting busy with stuff around me.. This remind me the story of Mary and Martha, where Martha start preparing stuff for Jesus when He came to there house, but what Mary did when she saw Jesus, she sat on His feet and just listen to Him.

Now as they went on their way, he entered a certain village, where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to what he was saying. But Martha was distracted by her many tasks; so she came to him and asked, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her then to help me." But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; there is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:38-42)
- And that's just I great example, I'm talking bout Mary ha! before we start everything else, Let's start our day on thanking Him and listen to what He wanted us to hear.

And I just want to share my awesome day today, I don't know if its even related to everything, hahaha! so anyway, Me and My sister went to sunset to buy a guitar for moi! Long story short. I've been attending this guitar lesson for weeks, and I really wanted to have a nylon guitar but what I have is a steel string guitar, so this curious yssa put a nylon string on a steel string guitar, how did I manage to do that? well my dad actually made it happen, :)) it took us forever to change the strings :)).. and when I went to my class, my teacher just when balistic on what I did, but he got amazed on me too.. and after class he told me to check out guitar center they have the cheapest classical guitar that I could buy for 99 bucks.. So yea me and my sister went there, my plan was to go there alone, but my sister wanna come alone :) at first I got irritated cause she took hours on fixing herself, but seeing it now, I couldn't do it alone, and just thankful that she came alone with me =D.. and she didn't only bought me a new guitar but a new bag also =D.. Big thanks to that!.. the next problem I had was the bible study that I'm gonna attend by 6, and I'm still at sunset by 5 something, and the distance of that is like... so big! but I just let it go, and tell myself that I should bring along my guitar to church cause it'll take me an hour again if I go home, and guess what again, I came early at church! I even manage to help them prepare stuffs, the hard part of it was riding the line 10 bus, cause it's like rush hour when I took it, and bringing along my guitar seems to be the biggest mistake I did, but it's just amazing how God put everything together, after our bible study, it's greg and ilene's first time attending the midweek bible study cause they're away from home, and it's really our first time too to chat that long, and here greggy has been playing guitar for about a year, and we ended up planning on meeting up someday and just learn or "jam" as they call it. And I was like "wow Lord! I know it's you who did that, you're just superb!".. If you read my previous blog about me being sad for not having a friend here on L.A. with the same age range, and here how quickly God answered my prayer! it's just a wow wow wow experience!, And I pray that it'll continue on, that church we're in now is not as big as I used to attend to, and I'm just happy that He brought me along here, I know He got amazing plans for me, and all of it to know Him more and be with the people who needs the needs that I long for, that we could be an encouragement with each other,

Fasting

What does Fasting means to you? How much knowledge do you now about it? Or do you even fast? that's just few of the questions that bugs in my mind about fasting.
And I didn't stop without finding answers to my question, though I wouldn't say I have enough knowledge about it now either. But I am sure with what's the truly meaning of it.

Before -talking about years- I thought it's not something to be bother, I mean like we weren't really told to do it, and those who only do it are taking everything seriously and just wanted to get thin or whatever..

but i was wrong with those opinions, partly wrong cause those people whom I know that did it before really are taking it seriously... or should i say taking God seriously, but they weren't doing it to loose wait nor to get people's attention

What does fasting really mean?
The answer he gave me to that question made me shrink in everything, I looked a passage in the bible that talks about Fasting and it took me to

Matthew 6:16-18 "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you they have recieved tehir reward full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your father, who is unseen, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." it was Jesus speaking about it. And I gotta be honest that didn't make my curiousity even clearer, it even adds more question so I checked the next verse that talks about it, its

Mark 2:18 "Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were Fasting, Some People came and asked Jesus"
and where on the same page, I didn't get any of it, No answer at all.. just the word fasting, Then I didn't know how I ended up in

Deutoronomy 30:20 " and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and holf fast to Him, for the Lord is your life and He will give you many years in the land he swore to give your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob"
and that seems to be interesting so I look at the previous verses in that same Chapter and it talks about The offer of life or death, it seems very interesting, and now this morning I continue reading the book deutoronomy and on chapter 8 where moses was telling the Israelites to not forget about the amazing things have shown to them when they were in the dessert and teach them to their sons and the sons of their sons after it so they will not fall on serving false gods, and its really amazing how He gave me answers to my questions.

Deut 8:3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither your father had known, to teach you that man does not leave on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord"..( wow! wow! wow! I just thank the Lord for His word, that all the answers on my curiosity about Him will be seen in His word, and He will truly give it when you ask Him :D ) and on that scripture different passages comes in my mind, and I know it was not me alone who remember it, and I came back to book of Matthew 4 where Jesus was tempted to the highest level!

Matthew 4
The Temptation of Jesus
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."

Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written:
" 'He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone."

Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test."

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. "All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."

Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only."

Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

And from that all my curiosity about fasting seems all to be clear, All the explanations my eldest sister told me and the leaders in our church made all sense, You don't eat when you fast cause you're denying your body's desire, and the story of Israelites are perfect example on how God taught them about fasting, that we don't rely strength on food but on Him, ofcourse we will hear our tummy grumble, and I guess that's the biggest temptaion on fasting and when you didn't fall for that, spiritually you'll be strengthen.. And to make all it all short "God wanted us to rely on him on everything and not on our Body's desire"... I forgot where you could find these scripture in the bible, it says "The spirit is willing but the body is weak", I don't know now how to explain verse by verse, but I guess I don't have to.. I'll just leave you with that verse. He sends his son Jesus to set a perfect example to everyone, I'm not saying if you don't fast then you're not relying on Him fully, I myself haven't tried fasting, but I know I'll be, what I'm trying to say is.. fasting is important thing to do for christians who already have the word, and spreading it.

There seems to be noone

I've been reading this book by Harris twins that really got into me on reading (if you've read my past blog you would know what i'm saying) And every time I read a new chapter..it just makes me smile, and inspire me so much to really go out there in when you're all hype or not. The topic I read awhile ago was a bout doing big hard things-and I'll keep saying this, it's been what God was telling me ever since but still here I am still planning.. or just thinking :(.

Talking with people on my same age or close was the biggest challenge I'm having now, physically, emotionally and spiritually.. I don't know where to begin, I always ended up crying on my quiet time with God, even now I get teary eyes just imagining how hard and hurtful it could be. Since I got a deeper relationship with the Lord I always wanted to know a lot more people and just share the same feeling I'm having with Him, but until now I haven't found any. I have talked to my friends in philippines, and I'm thankful that even if the difference of our time is impossible to think that you could able to talk to them still happened, These people are Mico, Ate Aleli and Ate Gela and Ate Andy.. Yea almost all of them are Ate's.. I mean they really are my ate's, I'm merely touched with God for letting me talk to them, cause I haven't really let my emotions out to anyone, well I did it before with Marcy our Pastor's wife, thinking about it now made me wanna shrink cause we ain't that close and I almost told her everything and letting her show my shtoopid tears. And lots more older people in our church, cause it seems like they're the only ones who could understand me.

It's just so amazing how God put everything in places in my life, I couldn't even take all the credit by myself, cause really it was Him who did everything. Longing for a true friend who I could really talk to, not with problems.. not even close to that, just being with the people who soulfully live their lives according to what God wants them to live. And just share His love to others who doesn't know Him or may know Him but haven't accepted His love, and just be an encouragement to this generation that expects to learn Him when they get old, just to feel the sinful things that our flesh desires, and be slaves to it.

* But how I could I do that in a place where I didn't grew up?
* In a new culture that I thought I knew before?
* In a place where I get so intimidated with everything?
* How could I start when there's no way to start?

I know this questions are so bogusly irritating to hear, complains that seems to be easy to know the answer, but I just got dumbfounded with the thoughts in my mind, I pray to God that I may see these not just for my own desires but to glorify His name. I am more than thankful with the people He let me meet to give me a boost when I'm about to fall and encouragement when I actually fall, and just wonderful enough to tell me to continue to know Him more cause truly God has a lot for me to see at to know and to learn, I just feel so blessed in this downfull situation that older people (talk about 30-50's) don't see me less the fact that I'm just sixteen and sixteen supposed to be bad on that age. But it just feels so empty not having a friend physically on same age range.

Gideon

Last Wednesday I went to our midweek bible study in our church, And we're now on book of Judges, And as we go through it, it just makes me sad how we people keep repeating the same mistakes, when we taste a little bit of glory we all get so yabang and we tend to forgot that its not just us who did it, and all that all credits should be pointed to God. but rather than telling how they fall short, and see it as an excuse for us to do the same, Why not see how they answer God's call even physically they knew they're nothing to their enemies.
Its just so Amazing how God really is beyond everything of our expectations. He's been so faithful for everything He said, and same as the Gideon did, they ask for sign, or test God first before believing Him, which is one of the saddest part in there, that we doubt God's desire for us so much, but He doesn't. And I'm truly guilty with this part, and that doesn't make me feel good, but on the other hand God gave the signs the Gideon ask for. I'd rather say God likes us to ask him directly when we are confuse than testing if its really Him, test seems to be a disrespectful thing, like you lack faith of Him, when He already took you out from egypt's hand..
waah! Gulay! Did I just say that?.. I hate to admit this but I'll say it anyways, whenever I read His word, I feel like I'm on the actual scene I'm reading, like litelarily! with the dessert stuff around me, but really we're on the same situation, only with more Hi-tech stuff but same problem.

How did everyone end up worshipping false gods, idols when they were already given a proof that God really does keep his promises?

* I said the same question as well ( I even get mad with Israelites before), Pastor David quoted on romans 1 preaching this "faith without deeds is dead", He gave us the laws not to feel choked, but for us to be guarded by the things that would seperate us from Him.

In both sides you'll learn a lot from Gideon's story..
-Walk by Faith not by sight
-Not be blinded with the great blessing He has provided us
-We did not do it by our own, so don't take all the credit
-Recieve His blessings to us with a humble hearts

--> almost the same thing over and over again, but we need to be reminded of this, He gave us His word to learn and to warn. Gideon's story is just one of the people that God uses for us to learn, and I'm just thankful for that. for giving us more than enough people to look up to. not on their faults but on their on mighty acts as they walk with God.

I finished reading it months ago, I've been super busy to blog, or fix my site. anyway, 5 people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom was written and published years ago, and on that years ago I wasn't into books yet, and I am aware that there's book named 5 people you meet in heaven, what I didn't know before was it's novel. And reading it was worth it!. But it didn't knocked my favorite books from there spot :)).

The story was about an old man who's about to die, and thought that the way he spend his life on earth was worthless, I mean he's worthless. but as he meet the 5 people in heaven, he saw his life on earth getting a meaning after all. The questions he have that never solved was now known and made all sense in heaven.

The story didn't focus much on how God really cared for us. Albom focus more on telling how are life is precious, worthy, and that all of us are connected in this world, whatever your color we are all connected. That's how I liked the book, that even strangers in our eyes, we should see them not as strangers.. haha is that  right?

This movie is definitely a Christian movie.. because the gospel was not shared here.. but mostly the connections of every person of earth
